The wrestling world lost a legend when the Bad Guy passed on. Scott Hall was on life support after suffering multiple heart attacks following complications of a hip surgery. Doctors removed him from the machine after upon the arrival of his family and friends and he passed on a few hours later. Millions commented on Hall’s passing, including the Hulkster.
Scott’s demise led to an outpouring of support from the world of sports and entertainment. Hall’s closest friends, including Shawn Michaels and Triple H, said they were gutted by his loss.
Wrestling megastar Hulk Hogan also paid an emotional tribute to the Bad Guy, crediting him for reviving his career during the mid nineties. The two alongside Nash were responsible for the creation of the New World Order in WCW.
“I just want everyone to know that he’s in our thoughts and prayers tonight. And he just passed. I had a real hard time getting my act together and getting over here. But Bad Times Don’t Last, but Bad Guys do.”
The Immortal One started trending on Twitter as soon as his tribute video reached the internet. One of the mainstays of WWE’s Golden Era, Hart defected to rival WCW in 1996. He appeared on Nitro May 27 to cut a promo. The rest is history.
