At a time when there have been rumors that Bret Hart could be coming into AEW, the WWE Hall Of Famer is apparently out of the loop or at least playing it up that way.
There’s been speculation the former WWE Champion could be joining All Elite Wrestling to be the manager of FTR following Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler recently firing Tully Blanchard.
Wheeler and Harwood are huge fans of Hart and they’ve become good friends with him as he is also high on their traditional tag team wrestling style. Wheeler even punched a fan who attacked Bret at the WWE Hall Of Fame a few years back.
While doing a virtual signing for Signed By Superstars, Hart was asked if he is going to AEW and he responded with: “Go there and do what?”
It’s possible that Hart is trying to keep his arrival a surprise, but there have been no reports to confirm that he’s joining AEW. The Hitman did make an AEW appearance by revealing the World Heavyweight Title at the 2019 Double Or Nothing event. Hart recently posted a photo of himself along with members of the Calgary Flames and he looks to be in great shape:

AEW will start the qualifying matches for the women’s portion of the Owen Hart Cup tournament next week when The Bunny takes on AEW’s newest signee.
Bret did a signing with RF last night and seemed genuinely confused by the idea of anyone wanting him in AEW. “Go there and do what?”
