WWE is quickly moving away from Jeff Hardy. There has been no mention of Jeff on SmackDown and they have not issued a statement anywhere on their website about his release.
At the Staples Center in Los Angeles, they are selling shirts with several SmackDown stars featured. The shirts include Jeff Hardy since they were designed before he was let go.
As you can see below, WWE sent out a tweet earlier today of the front and back of the shirt, and later they sent out an edited graphic that has the back of the shirt covering up Jeff.
As previously reported, Jeff was released by the company after he refused to go to rehab. He is currently under a 90-day non-compete and will be a free agent in March. Hardy was scheduled to face Happy Corbin on SmackDown this week and there are ads still advertising Hardy for a house show in Des Moines, Iowa. Obviously, all future plans for Hardy in WWE have been scrapped.
