Baron Corbin has become one of the most disliked wrestlers in all of WWE by fans since he joined the main roster 2016.

One angle got him so much heat that he received death threats from fans. That angle involved him hitting Becky Lynch with his “End Of Days” finisher at Extreme Rules 2019.

At this show, Corbin teamed up with Lacy Evans to take on Lynch and Seth Rollins in a mixed tag team match. Corbin noted that to be in the wrestling business, you have to have thick skin to deal with trolls and negative people.

“When I hit Becky with the End of Days, I was getting death threats. On a regular basis. 95% of [critics] are on the internet or safely behind somewhere they can’t be accessed. Roman said it the best one time, that he’s never met a hater in real life. That’s the same kind of thing with me,” Corbin said on the latest episode of the Out of Character Podcast with Ryan Satin.

Corbin continued by noting that there are people waiting at the airport and he thinks it would be funny if wrestlers checked the Twitter accounts of fans to see if they’re a good person or being negative on social media.

In this same interview, Corbin went into great detail about his Sad Corbin gimmick where he lost his luck in storyline and grew out his hair.
