The latest edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown saw the ratings increase from the last time the show aired on FOX Sports 1.
Friday’s show averaged 1.032 million viewers on FS1, which is down from last week’s show that did 2.249 million on FOX, according to Brandon Thurston of WrestleNomics.
In the all-important 18-49 demographic, the show did a 0.29 rating, down from the 0.58 rating last week. The show ranked #3 on the night among cable shows.
In comparison, the show that previously aired on FS1 two weeks ago did 866,000 viewers and 0.24 rating in the key demo. That episode was a special 2 and half hour broadcast that also was loaded up with a contract signing segment featuring Brock Lesnar and Sasha Banks vs. Becky Lynch.
Here’s the breakdown in each demo for the show compared to the previous FS1 edition:
Viewers 18-34 – 0.15 – two weeks ago: 0.15
Viewers 18-49 – 0. 29- two weeks ago: 0.24
Viewers 25-54 – 0.35 – two weeks ago: 0.28
Female viewers 18-49 – 0.22 – two weeks ago: 0.16
Male viewers 18-49 – 0.35 – two weeks ago: 0.32
Viewers 50+ – 0.53 – two weeks ago: 0.43
This episode featured Charlotte Flair vs. Shotzi, and Drew McIntyre vs. Mustafa Ali, Happy Corbin & Madcap Moss vs. Rick Boogs & Shinsuke Nakamura, Shayna Baszler vs. Naomi, The New Day vs. The Usos in the main event.
