The group of actors will all join a cast that is shaping up to be quite star-studded, as Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy will also be in the film and reprising their roles from the first film. The sequel will focus on three young women who accidentally bring back the Sanderson Sisters, this time to modern-day Salem. There, they must figure out how to stop the witches from once again trying to cause havoc and chaos.

The castings were confirmed in a series of Disney tweets, which you can see below:

The original film was led by multi-award-winning actress Bette Midler (The Rose) and four-time Golden Globe winner Sarah Jessica Parker (Sex and the City) along with Kathy Najimy (Sister Act). The film followed the story of a teenage boy, who accidentally brings a trio of villainous Salem witches back to life on Halloween night. Although Hocus Pocus wasn’t a critical and commercial success by the time of its release, it still stood the test of time through countless annual airings and has now become a cult classic film.
