On Saturday, Ric Flair sent out an interesting message on Twitter about how he can pop a rating for AEW if they allow him to do a talking segment with CM Punk.
The WWE Hall of Famer shared a photo of himself and Punk in a ring at a WWE show several years ago. When Flair left WWE, it was reported that Flair had a disagreement with Vince McMahon over the booking of his daughter Charlotte and that led to his departure from the company while Flair has claimed that he wanted to leave the promotion.
After he sent out that tweet, some people started talking about the possibility of him heading AEW as he is friends with President Tony Khan and Andrade, his future son-in-law, is already working for the promotion.
Flair made it clear that he’s not looking for a job with AEW as he wrote the following on Twitter:
Just Having Fun And Sharing Memories Does Not Imply I’m Looking For A Job! I Left One Great Company & It Wasn’t Because Of @VinceMcMahon! And I’m Not Going To Work For Another Great One, And It’s Not Because Of @TonyKhan! It’s As Simple As That.
