Becky Lynch has been one of the mainstays of WWE television for the past few years, especially thanks to her meteoric rise in 2018. She came back during WWE SummerSlam and since then has been a champion. It seems she isn’t a fan of the brand supremacy storylines.

One of the most common storylines over the years when it comes to the WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view is certainly the battle for brand supremacy between the main roster brands.

Back in 2019, even NXT was featured in the mix, as NXT, Monday Night RAW and Friday Night Smackdown competed against each other to see who would be dubbed the best brand.

While speaking with Vincent Beltran, Becky Lynch admitted that the idea for brand supremacy at the WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view is outdated. She stated that it would be more interesting if the winners were rewarded in some way.

“Yeah, that would be helpful. I don’t know if — yeah, the old brand supremacy is a little outdated. At the same time, we’re all competitors. So, you always want to be the best. Whatever it is, whatever carrot they dangle.

You always want to be the best, whether it’s the winner gets a frickin’ banana. It’s like, ‘Well, I want that frickin’ banana. I wanna prove that I deserve that banana.’ You always want to be the best. Whatever the logic is, you can make it work when you are a competitive human, which we all are. You don’t get to WWE if you’re not competitive.”

Becky Lynch is set to square off against Charlotte Flair at WWE Survivor Series in a champion vs champion match. Afterwards, it is likely she will face Liv Morgan. It remains to be seen how she will fare against her old foe, Charlotte Flair.
