The live viewership numbers for AEW Dynamite are in and the show was down in total viewers and the 18-49 demographic.
Dynamite drew 575,000 viewers, which is down from the 727,000 viewers the show previously drew last week. Showbuzz Daily reported the news. In the 18-49 demographic, the show did a 0.22, which is down from the 0.28 last week.
A replay of Friday’s WWE SmackDown episode aired head-to-head with Dynamite on FOX. SmackDown did 632,000 viewers and a 0.16 rating in the 18-49.
Dynamite beat SmackDown in all of the demos except for female 35-49 and +50 as well as total viewership. Brandon Thurston of WrestleNomics put together this comparison chart:

Dynamite ranked #10 in the top 150 shows on cable for the night, down from the #9 ranking last week. Here’s the breakdown in each demo for the show:

Dynamite was expected to be down as it aired on Saturday night instead of its usual Wednesday timeslot. Dynamite will air on Wednesday this week. The show went up against competition from college football, and MLB playoff game.
The episode featured Hikaru Shida vs. Serena Deeb in a TBS Title Tournament match, Aleister Black vs. Cody Rhodes, Brandon Cutler vs. Jungle Boy, Bobby Fish vs. Anthony Greene, Lance Archer vs. Eddie Kingston and Dustin Rhodes vs. Bryan Danielson in World Title Eliminator matches.
