Braun Strowman was released from WWE as the company trimmed a monster among contracts from their bottom line. That $1.2 million per year guarantee went back to WWE’s coffers and now Strowman’s 90-day non-compete clause is finished. He has yet to arrive elsewhere, but Impact Wrestling is interested in him.

Ringside News previously reported that WWE has no interest in bringing Braun Strowman back. A tenured member of the creative team told us that if they wanted him back, then “he would have already been in the fold.”

Strowman’s management contacted Ringside News and ensured us that an announcement will be made shortly concerning his future endeavors. They also claimed to “have had” talks with WWE, but they no-sold a follow-up question about any ongoing discussions.

We circled back to our orginal sources and were able to attain more information. Ringside News was additionally told that “WWE is not approaching Braun. Braun keeps trying to get his job back.”

We were told, “so far, there’s been no interest.” Before the 2021 WWE Draft, Raw and SmackDown writing teams were asked “any interest in Braun?” Both teams told Vince McMahon, Bruce Prichard, and John Laurinaitis that there is “no interest.” Both writing teams were asked the same question and they came back with the same response.

Ringside News reached out to Adam Scherr’s management on October 5th about our new updates to this story and they declined to comment.

AEW has spoken with Braun Strowman, but there is no word on how far those talks went. At this time it seems that the most likely landing pad for Braun Strowman is Impact Wrestling, because we know WWE isn’t happening right now.

Note: We fully realize that Adam Scherr fka Braun Strowman will fire back at this report, because he did so with our orginal article about WWE’s lack of interest, but Ringside News is 100% confident in this story.
