WWE Pulls Planned Title Match From NXT 2.0 Debut Episode

WWE is rebooting NXT and fans will soon see what Vince McMahon and Bruce Prichard reportedly have planned for the new brand. That new era of NXT was supposed to include an NXT Women’s Title match, but that isn’t happening now.

According to Fightful Select, the planned NXT Women’s Title match between Raquel Gonzalez and Frankie Monet is not happening now. It was not noted exactly why this match was nixed, but it is no longer on the lineup for the show.

A planned match between Franky Monet and Raquel Gonzalez for the NXT Women’s Championship will not be taking place Tuesday as planned.

Although it wasn’t noted why this match was pulled, it was reported that “the company was aware of the change by Monday morning.” It was also not confirmed whether Raquel Gonzalez or Frankie Monet will appear on the show tonight in another role.

There are a lot of questions in NXT right now, including who will run the show without Triple H around. NXT Superstars also feel as though they are on thin ice. Keep checking back with Ringside News for more updates on this situation.
