Ricky Starks on how CM Punk is backstage, trying to adjust to so many people backstage in AEW

AEW star Ricky Starks was interviewed on the debut episode of Renee Paquette and Meisha Tate’s podcast.

Here is Starks talking about CM Punk being in AEW:

“It’s been great. I know that he’s a very hard worker, obviously. Backstage, he’s very mindful of everyone and their matches. He makes sure he talks to them and critiques them afterwards. He’s very approachable. I think having Punk back there is a big morale boost, like a big morale boost.”

Starks talking about having double the number of people backstage compared to when they first started:

“I don’t really acclimate well to change so quickly as I should, so I’m still trying to adjust to having so many people back there, new faces, and different personalities.  It’s good otherwise.”

Starks on AEW’s momentum:

“I feel like this is where we turn the corner. Everything is so cyclical in wrestling and pop culture that I think we are really turning that corner into the next phase where things are really going to start popping off here in the next few months if I had to predict.”

Also on this debut podcast, Renee and Miesha break down the altercation between Conor McGregor and Machine Gun Kelly at the VMA’s, speak to MMA legend Anderson ‘The Spider’ Silva fresh off his boxing KO victory over Tito Ortiz in Triller Fight Club’s card on Saturday, and they get to know each other by testing each other’s knowledge on pro wrestling and MMA.
