Pete Dunne has signed a new contract with WWE

Amid the recent departures, there is some good news on the NXT 2.0 side of things.

Fightful is reporting that former WWE United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne has signed a new contract and will stay with the company.

Dunne reportedly agreed to a three-year deal that was personally offered to him by Triple H before his recent health issues. Dunne was in a similar situation as Adam Cole with his contract expiring in July. Dunne had agreed to a short-term extension before signing the long-term deal.

Dunne is scheduled to wrestle in the Fatal Four-Way match tonight on the rebranded NXT 2.0 to determine the new NXT Champion.

As previously noted, there are two big contracts that we are aware of that are due to expire in a few months. Click here for that story.
