Paul Heyman Says It’d Be A Pleasure To Watch Roman Reigns Retire Jeff Hardy

After several years of unnecessary booking as a babyface, Roman Reigns underwent a massive character change thanks to his heel turn last year. Since then the Tribal Chief has remained one of the most dominant forces in the company’s history.

The Tribal Chief’s excellent character work and storytelling ability inside the squared circle have made him one of the most sought after WWE Superstars right now.

Everyone wants a piece of Roman Reigns and that also includes WWE legend Jeff Hardy, who considered a match against Reigns as a proper dream match for him before he hangs up his wrestling boots for good.

Paul Heyman took to Twitter and reacted to what Jeff Hardy said, as Heyman stated that it would be a pleasure for him to watch Roman Reigns retire Jeff Hardy.

“I am a great admirer of all @JEFFHARDYBRAND‘s accomplishments, and also of the fact he’s arrogant enough to spell his twitter handle in ALL CAPS. Great branding! It would be a pleasure to watch my #TribalChief @WWERomanReigns SMASH Jeff into his well-earned @WWE retirement!”

Before Roman Reigns can even think about Jeff Hardy, he has to contend with Finn Balor as he will defend his WWE Universal Championship against Balor at WWE Extreme Rules on September 26.
