Taking to Twitter on Friday, the official Skate video game account sent out a poster highlighting the day, with Skate Day arriving on Tuesday, September 14, 2021. Unfortunately for fans looking forward to some potential news on the game, Electronic Arts has already confirmed via the poster that no news updates on the upcoming Skate 4 will happening on that day.

While it’s anyone’s guess as to what Skate Day might include, the community behind the video game series has always been strong, and the community in the world of skateboarding even stronger. With tons of fans — both celebrity and not — acting as huge fans of the game, it wouldn’t be shocking to see some surprise appearances and messages during Tuesday’s celebration.

Skate 4 is the next skateboarding game from EA. The previous three entries all received critical and commercial acclaim for providing a more realistic alternative than the over-the-top action in Activision’s Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater series. No release window has been set for the latest installment just yet.
