FTR faced Sting and Darby Allin at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam in New York City.
Darby Allin and Dax Harwood started the match but Allin quickly tagged in Sting after an attempt at a double team by FTR. Sting and Cash Wheeler wrestled and FTR tried a double team but Sting fought them both off with punches and body slams. Sting tried the Stinger Splash but Harwood pulled Wheeler out of the way and then FTR took over on offense with Harwood tagging in and continuing the attack.
Allin tagged in and he hit a flurry of offense on both members of FTR, including a Coffin Drop to the outside but they caught him and drove Allin into the ring apron. After a commercial break, Sting hit a flurry of offense on Harwood. Sting then hit a crossbody off the top into a pin attempt. Sting was almost pinned after a double team by FTR.
Sting hit a Stinger Splash on both members of FTR but as he went to do the move again on Harwood, Sting stopped himself from crashing into a chair in the corner and he sent Harwood into it. Allin hit the Coffin Drop on Wheeler at ringside and Sting forced Harwood to tap to the Scorpion Death Lock.
